Dear colleagues, suppliers and customers,

Following advice of the Dutch RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) and other government parties we take further actions as a company. This is first to protect personal health and second to prevent business implications. These actions should reduce the risk of infection of individuals and following from that also the risk of groups. The management team of GB Steel Group will stay in contact on a daily basis to discuss the actual situation and will communicate further actions if necessary. Please ask your supervisor or contact person in case of questions. The following actions apply until March 31st or until further notice.

Simultaneous breaks are cancelled
We want to split up bigger groups. That is why on all locations including building sites we split up breaks in several slots.

Work from home
Employees with laptops are advised to work from home as much as possible. More login accounts are ordered and will be available from Wednesday March 18th.

Working times
Opportunities to change working times can be discussed in consultation with your supervisor. This is to prevent bigger groups working in one room.

Meetings and working elsewhere
We want to prevent bigger groups being together and also want to prevent the risk of infection from people who work on various locations (such as project managers, erectors, cladders, etc). Reduce the number of working locations and meet online.

Drinks and parties
We cancel (Friday afternoon) drinks and other parties, including the party of Kampstaal on April 4th.

Suppliers and customers at our sites
External parties must follow instructions from our employees. At the moment there is no free access to various areas within our company, other than the reception or areas which are indicated by our employees.

Other meetings
We advise to cancel meetings with all kinds of parties, both business and private (for instance sports, gyms, (birthday) parties, travel journeys, etc).
